On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers assassinated a Palestinian in Ya’bad town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed, As’ad Essam Al-Qoneiri, 28.

The slain former political prisoner was assassinated after the undercover Israeli soldiers surrounded a home and shot him.

Media sources said the soldiers left As’ad bleeding without any medical aid until he succumbed to his wounds after they refused to allow Palestinian medics to reach him.

After he succumbed to his wound, the army allowed the medics to take his corpse, before they transferred it to Ya’bad clinic where it became apparent the soldiers shot him with several live rounds.

The soldiers also invaded Jenin city and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters who also targeted the invading vehicles with explosives, and damaged an armored bulldozer, after bulldozing and destroying streets and infrastructure.
