Israeli soldiers assaulted, Sunday, a young Palestinian man from Beit Ummar town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and abducted him.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers assaulted and injured a former political prisoner, identified as Bilal Abdul-Rahman Awad, 20, causing several injuries, before abducting him.

In addition, the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes in the Old City of Hebron and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

The army also installed several roadblocks at the northern roads of Hebron city, in addition to the entrances of many villages, towns, and refugee camps, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
