Israeli forces assaulted, on Thursday, a Palestinian young man, in Al-Rashaida village, east of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to a local activist.

Fawaz Al-Rashaida, the local secretary of the “Fatah” movement stated that soldiers brutally assaulted a former prisoner in his twenties, identified as Ahmed Omar.

Al-Rashaida explained that Israeli soldiers detained the young man and severely beat him, to the extent that he suffered a skull fracture.

As a result, the injured young man was transported urgently to a hospital in occupied Jerusalem for immediate medical intervention.

Neither the severity of the injury, or the condition of the young man was known at the time of writing this report.
