On Friday dawn, Israeli soldiers injured a young Palestinian man in Saida town, north of Tulkarem, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot the young man, a former political prisoner, with a live round in the leg.
They added that the wounded young man was rushed to Thabet Thabet hospital in Tulkarem; his wounds have been described as moderate.
The Palestinian was shot during protests after several army jeeps invaded several neighborhoods in the town.
