Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Sunday at dawn, the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, shot and injured two Palestinians, and abducted two others. The soldiers also abducted one Palestinian in Marah Rabah village, south of Bethlehem.
In Deheishe refugee camp, the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, concussion grenades and gas bombs, at many youngsters who hurled stones and empty bottles on the invading armored vehicles.
Medical sources said two young men were shot with live rounds in the abdomen and arms, and were moved to a local hospital, suffering moderate-but-stable injuries, while many Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.
The soldiers also invaded and violently searched many homes in the refugee camp, abducted two Palestinians, identified as Ahmad Sa’ad Saifi, 24, and Khalil Mohammad Banna, 22, and took them to Etzion military base and security center.
Furthermore, many army vehicles invaded Marah Rabah village, south of Bethlehem, before the soldiers searched homes, and abducted a young man identified as Mojahed Sheikh.
