On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a young Palestinian man near a military roadblock east of Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed Karim Nash’at Kamal Ayesh, 21, after shooing him with live fire.
It added that the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from approaching the young men, who eventually bled to death, and closed the military roadblock.
The Israeli army claimed the young man was driving a motorcycle and opened fire at the soldiers at the roadblock before they killed him and added that no soldiers were injured.
Palestinian sources said the slain young man is from the village of Far’un, south of Tulkarem.
On Monday night, Israeli forces killed Yamen Mohammed Husseti, 17, after shooting him in the abdomen in Arraba town, southwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said the Israeli army has killed 370 Palestinians, including 99 children, in the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023.
It added that Israel has now killed at least 25.490 Palestinians, including 12.345 children, 7.500 women, 337 medical workers, 119 journalists, 231 Palestinians working in the education sector, 152 UNRWA workers, 45 first responders.
At least 7000 Palestinians, including 4700 children, remain missing, largely killed on streets and buried under the rubble for bombarded homes and buildings.
