On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers fired several live rounds at a Palestinian car in the Shu’fat refugee camp, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, seriously wounding the driver.

Media sources said several army vehicles invaded the refugee camp and fired many live rounds at Palestinians and several cars to force them to leave the streets.

They added that the soldiers shot a Palestinian man, 35 years of age, with a live round in the abdomen while in his car.

Medical sources said the young man bled profusely and described his abdominal wounds as serious, adding that he is receiving treatment at a Palestinian hospital.
