On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot a young man and abducted two Palestinians after the army invaded Betunia town, west of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
Media sources said several military jeeps invaded the town, stormed and ransacked homes, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the leg and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
During the invasions of homes, the soldiers abducted Tareq Nader Al-Bayya’, and former political prisoner Bilal Abu Raddaha.
In addition, the soldier stormed and searched the Betunia School for Boys and a few surrounding homes and buildings.
In related news, the soldiers invaded the Baten Al-Hawa neighborhood and confiscated a car and At-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Biereh city before storming and searching many homes and buildings and occupying rooftops to use as firing posts and monitoring towers.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked at least one shop before confiscating surveillance recordings and equipment.
In related news, the army invaded Birzeit town, north of Ramallah, Shuqba village, west of the city, and Deir Abu Mashal town, northwest of Ramallah.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers stormed and ransacked the building of the Islamic Charitable Society and the Al-Aqsa School it runs, before confiscating computers, files and equipment in addition to welding shut the charitable society’s the main door.
