On Friday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot two young Palestinian men in the Balata refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and caused serious damage to homes and infrastructure after the army, including an armored military bulldozer, invaded it.
Media sources several military vehicles, including a D9 armored bulldozer, invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests.
They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the Palestinians and many homes.
Medical sources stated the soldiers shot two young men with live fire and added that there are likely more injuries, but the army has been closing and destroying streets and infrastructure, especially in the Schools Street area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that the soldiers fired many live rounds at its ambulances, preventing them from reaching the wounded in the refugee camp.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes in the refugee camp, causing damage, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The Israeli vehicles, especially the bulldozers, caused serious damage to homes and structures and the infrastructure in the refugee camp.
