On Monday evening and at night, Day 35 since the resumption of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army bombarded various parts of the starved and devastated coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

In Jabalia, northern Gaza, the army fired missiles at a City Council building in Jabalia an-Nazla, alongside additional missile and artillery strikes across multiple areas in the north.

One Palestinian, Abdullah Abu Ras, was killed when an Israeli military quadcopter drone fired live rounds at displaced residents gathered in front of As-Safad School, east of Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood.

In Gaza City, four Palestinians were killed and several others wounded when the Israeli army bombarded tents housing displaced families near the Al-Jazeera Club in the city center.

Additionally, several Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing targeting a home belonging to the Bakr family in western Gaza City.

In central Gaza, the army launched missile and artillery strikes at Bloc 4 near the Big Mosque in Al-Bureij refugee camp, killing at least one Palestinian and injuring five others.

In Deir Al-Balah, also in central Gaza, Israeli missiles struck Salahuddin Street near Al-Awda Mosque, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, an Israeli missile targeted a home in the Qizan Najjar area, killing 37-year-old Ahmad Hasan Mohammad Najjar and injuring multiple Palestinians.

Elsewhere in Khan Younis, the army bombarded a home in the Zanna area of Bani Sohaila town, east of the city, killing four Palestinians and causing several injuries. The army also fired multiple missiles and shells at Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis.

Israeli soldiers shot Dr. Rawya Al-Harazin, the wife of Dr. Nahed Abu Taima, who serves as the Director of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and is currently detained by Israeli occupation authorities.

The shooting took place as Dr. Al-Harazin was disembarking from a Ministry of Health bus near the roundabout in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, while she was on her way home from work.

Additionally, in Khan Younis, the army launched artillery and missile strikes at the Qizan Rashwan area, east of the city.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost part, Israeli soldiers continued wiring and detonating dozens of Palestinian homes and buildings.

Medical sources report that dozens of Palestinians have been killed in continuous Israeli bombings and shelling over the past 24 hours. Among them, 39 slain Palestinians and 62 others who were transferred to hospitals.

Meanwhile, a commander from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, reported that fighters ambushed an Israeli military engineering unit by leading them into a pre-rigged explosive tunnel in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Once inside, the tunnel was detonated, resulting in casualties among Israeli forces.

On the political front, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty reaffirmed their countries’ firm opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.

During a meeting of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee, the two ministers discussed pressing regional and global developments, with the crisis in Gaza being a primary focus.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tamim Khallaf stated that the discussions underscored both nations’ unwavering stance against any efforts to remove Palestinians from their homeland.

Beyond addressing displacement concerns, the ministers reviewed the Arab-Islamic initiative for Gaza’s reconstruction and preparations for an upcoming international conference.

Egypt, in collaboration with the United Nations and the Palestinian government, plans to host the summit, aiming to coordinate efforts for rebuilding Gaza and restoring regional stability.

UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric warned that food supplies in Gaza have reached critically low levels over the past 50 days, while essential medicines and medical equipment continue to deplete, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

Earlier Monday, the Israeli army continued bombing and shelling various parts of the destroyed, besieged, and starved coastal region, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

Since the resumption of hostilities in Gaza on March 18, 2025, Israeli strikes have killed more than 1,864 Palestinians and injured at least 4,890, with many still trapped beneath rubble.

Additionally, since October 7, 2023, 65 Palestinian detainees—40 from Gaza, including a child—have died in Israeli prisons, reportedly due to torture and medical neglect.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 50,139 Palestinians, including more than 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 235 journalists, and 23 medics. At least 116,931 people, largely children, women, and the elderly, have been injured in the Gaza Strip.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary settlers have killed 963 Palestinians, including 194 children, 21 women, 15 elders, one journalist, and two medics, since October 7, 2023.

On Monday, a Palestinian man died after dozens of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Monday evening that the citizen, Wael Basem Mohammad Ghafri, 48, died after exposure to toxic tear gas fired by the occupation army who were protecting illegal Israeli colonizers.

On Sunday evening, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office released a statement announcing that another Palestinian detainee has died in Israeli custody, the second in less than one week.

The statement added that the wounded detainee, Nasser Khalil Mohammad Al-Radayda, 49, died on Sunday, after being transferred to the Hadassah Hospital from Ofer Prison.

In related news, the Palestinian detainee, Musab Hassan Omar Adili, 20, died in Israeli custody, on April 16 in the Soroka Hospital in Israel, just days before he was set for release.
