On Monday, Israeli forces invaded and completely demolished a Palestinian Bedouin village in Masafer Yatta, displacing dozens of families and rendering them homeless.

The families were notified on May 1st about the planned demolition of their village, but did not hav e time to gather belongings and had nowhere to bring their belongings to.

Israeli authorities gave no explanation for the demolition other than that it was for ‘military reasons’ — a common excuse used by Israel when stealing Palestinian land for expansion of the Israeli state.

Despite the fact that such actions are in direct violation of international law and all signed agreements, Israeli authorities continue to carry out these demolitions on a near-daily basis with impunity.

Over the past three months, Israeli has demolished dozens of Palestinian homes, mainly in Tulkarem and Jenin, citing ‘military reasons’, leaving hundreds of Palestinians homeless.

Basel Adra reports: The Khillet al-Dab‘a community in Masafer Yatta has been almost completely demolished. The scale of destruction is indescribable — homes, sheep Shelters , caves, water tanks and wells, as well as solar Shelters , have all been destroyed.

Southern West Bank:

On Monday evening, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar and the village of Wadi Fukin, in Bethlehem governorate .

Local sources told Wafa news agency that Israeli occupation forces stormed Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and positioned themselves in the “Muthallath” area in the center of the town. Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Bani Na’im, near Hebron, with a squadron of military vehicles.

Also Monday, in the Hebron area, A Palestinian identified as Yousef Abu Danhash, as well as a young woman, members of the Palestinian Authority’s intelligence service, were kidnapped by two men, dressed in civilian clothes, after leaving the evening prayer at Al-Rahman Mosque in the Ras Al-Joura area of ​​Hebron yesterday. The men were identified as undercover Israeli soldiers, who abducted the two PA officials and took them to an unknown destination.

 

In addition, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, on Monday evening . Local sources told Wafa news agency that an Israeli army force raided Turmus Ayya, without any arrests or raids being reported.

Northern West Bank:

The Israeli siege and assault on Jenin continued for its 106th straight day.

Nablus:

On Monday evening, in the northern West Bank, a young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, during clashes that erupted east of Nablus.

Israeli military vehicles invading eastern Nablus:

Local sources reported that a young man was shot in the lower back with live ammunition during clashes that erupted near the old and new Askar camps. He was subsequently taken to the hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the refugee camps and the area between the old and new Askar camps, and fired live bullets, tear gas bombs, and sound bombs, which led to the outbreak of clashes in the area.

Separately, a child was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, Monday evening, during an Israeli raid into Azmut village, east of Nablus.

Medical sources reported that a 15-year-old child was injured by live bullets in the knee and taken to the hospital after the occupation forces stormed the village.

Israeli military vehicles stormed the village this evening, firing live ammunition, tear gas and sound bombs, sparking clashes in the area.

 

Tulkarem:

Israeli bulldozers began demolishing a number of residential buildings in Al-Manshiya neighborhood in Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm city, on Monday .

Israeli occupation forces pushed a heavy D10 bulldozer into the camp this afternoon, and began demolishing homes and destroying their surroundings, in light of the ongoing aggression for the 86th consecutive day .

The occupation forces informed five families last night, the owners of the homes threatened with demolition – Abu Harb, Al-Alajma, Abdullah, and Shehada – to evacuate their homes, which consist of 15 residential units, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., in preparation for their demolition.

This escalation came after the occupation forces notified, last Thursday evening, the demolition of 106 buildings and homes in the two camps, including (58) buildings in Tulkarm camp, and (48) homes in Nour Shams camp .

Also Monday, Israeli occupation forces deployed on Monday in the streets of Tulkarm city, and were stationed around Gamal Abdel Nasser Square amid a noticeable military presence.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that the occupation forces’ vehicles obstructed the movement of vehicles, as they drove against the traffic flow in the city’s streets, specifically on Nablus Street, the Martyr Thabet Thabet Roundabout, the vegetable market, Gamal Abdel Nasser Square, and Al-Maslakh Street in the eastern neighborhood .

She added that the occupation forces pursued a number of young men in the city center and fired sound bombs at them, causing panic among the citizens, especially in light of the overcrowding in the city at this time. They arrested the young man, Yousef Shteiwi, while he was in the vicinity of Gamal Abdel Nasser Square.

The city, its suburbs, and its two camps are witnessing 24-hour activity by occupation vehicles and infantry squads, which provocatively patrol the streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles, and pursuing them, while simultaneously firing live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas at them .

Late Monday night, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a young man from the Dhnaba suburb, east of Tulkarm.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the suburb and patrolled its main streets, specifically around the Sharia School, Halima Khreisha School, and “Motor Al-Tafal” School. They stopped vehicles, searched them, interrogated their passengers, and abused a number of them, before arresting the young man, Ahmed Al-Attar.

In the same context, occupation forces deployed in the streets of Tulkarm city, specifically around the Martyr Thabet Thabet Roundabout, Al-Haddadeen Street, Al-Alimi Courts Street, and Nablus Street, especially the area connecting Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, and obstructed the movement of citizens and vehicles.

Qalqilia:

Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya on Monday . Local sources told Wafa news that the occupation forces stormed the city from its eastern entrance and deployed in the eastern area known as “Sufin”, without any arrests being reported.
