On Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished a citizen’s home in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, and demolished another house in occupied Jerusalem. A Palestinian was coerced to demolish his own home near Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, while another was ordered to evacuate his home.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces invaded the “Wadi al-Sharikh” area of Sa’ir town, northeast of Hebron, on Tuesday morning.
He added that the army used heavy machinery to demolish the two-storey home owned by the citizen Fouad Jaradat, measuring approximately 300 square meters in size.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished a citizen’s home and surrounding walls on Tuesday, in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that after storming the “Al-Aswija” neighborhood in Ar-Ram town, the occupation forces demolished a house owned by the citizen Salama Othman Wazwaz.
It added that the destroyed home provided shelter for six individuals and was built before Israel’s occupation of the West Bank in 1967.
Earlier, the Governorate reported that a number of citizens suffered the inhalation injuries, including an elderly man, after occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the entrance to the town.
In related news, occupation soldiers delivered an evacuation order against a citizen’s home in the town of Za’tara, southeast of Bethlehem.
According to the homeowner Raed Hassan Abu Ra’ya, occupation forces stormed his 110-square-meter house and handed him an order to evacuate it; he added that the house provides shelter for seven citizens.
