On Monday evening, the Israeli occupation army issued demolition orders targeting more than 100 Palestinian homes in the Jenin refugee camp, located in Jenin city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the homes are set to be demolished within 72 hours of the order being issued, affecting several neighborhoods within the refugee camp.
The sources added that the army distributed leaflets containing a map that highlights the 100 homes slated for demolition across various parts of the Jenin refugee camp.
Since the Israeli military offensive began in Jenin more than five months ago, the Israeli army has partially or completely demolished over 600 homes and structures in the Jenin refugee camp alone.
In March, the Israeli army demolished over 66 Palestinian homes in the refugee camp as part of the ongoing offensive on Jenin, the Jenin refugee camp, and several surrounding villages and towns.
On Saturday, Israeli soldiers demolished 58 Palestinian homes in Tulkarem refugee camp, in Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part, as part of a ongoing plan to remove the Palestinians from it.
The WAFA Palestinian News Agency reported that Israeli military bulldozers continued demolishing dozens of residential buildings in the Tulkarem refugee camp for the second consecutive day, as part of a larger plan to demolish 106 buildings in both the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, including 58 buildings in the Tulkarem refugee camp alone.
This includes more than 250 housing units and dozens of commercial establishments concentrated in the Balawna and Okasha neighborhoods.
Media sources stated that the army persisted with the demolitions in the al-Balawna and al-Akasha neighborhoods within the Tulkarem refugee camp, as part of a plan to demolish 106 homes in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.
These demolitions encompass 58 buildings that contain more than 250 apartments and dozens of stores.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 150 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 27 children and 5 women.
The occupation forces have killed 57 Palestinians in Jenin, 26 in Nablus, 25 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 6 in Hebron, 5 in Bethlehem, 5 in Ramallah, 4 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.
