The Palestinian national team will compete in the 32nd International Ahmet Comert Boxing Tournament, in Istanbul, Turkey.

“We have also invited Palestinian national team as a reaction to US embassy move to Jerusalem,” Turkish Boxing Federation President Eyup Gozgec said, at an introductory meeting.

Atilla Comert, son of the former Turkish boxer Ahmet Comert, said that 350 boxers from 27 countries would participate in the tournament.

The tickets for the tournament would be free, he added, according to Days of Palestine.
