Israeli army invade areas in Gaza and in the West Bank, Israeli troops storm residents homes and kidnapped 16 civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
A number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Monday morning, Palestinian agricultural lands, near Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said the army vehicles, stationed in the Sofa military base across the border fence, advanced more than fifty meters into the Palestinian lands, while Israeli planes flew overhead.
Army bulldozers then started uprooting lands, close to the border fence, under heavy deployment and aerial surveillance. In related news, several military vehicles invaded Palestinian lands in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, while surveillance drones flew overhead.
Staying in Gaza, Israel has reduced the fishing zone in Gaza territorial waters to only six nautical miles, in all of Gaza’s waters, from the northern to the southern parts of the coastal region.
Nizar Ayyash, the head of the Palestinian Fishers Syndicate, said the Israeli side has officially informed the Palestinians regarding the unilateral reduction of the fishing zone. He added that the Israeli move was yet another violation to every signed agreement, including all mediated ceasefire deals, and that this significantly impacts the fishers, who are already subject to daily violations.
Last March, Israel decided to increase the fishing zone in the area extending from Gaza Valley to the southern part of the coastal region, to nine nautical miles, but kept the zone in northern Gaza at six nautical miles. There are more than 4000 fishers and around 700 boats in the Gaza Strip providing livelihood to at least 70.000 Palestinians.
Elsewhere, The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the northern West Bank district of Nablus, violently searched homes, and kidnapped eleven Palestinians, including a woman.
Moreover, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, various communities in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, and kidnapped four Palestinians, including a child. The soldiers also kidnapped one Palestinian in Jenin.
