Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire killed several Palestinians and wounded others across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, as Israeli forces continued widespread violations of the “ceasefire” agreement, including the destruction of homes, bombardment of civilian areas, and attacks on displaced families.
Israeli forces also carried out repeated demolitions inside areas designated as “safe zones,” alongside airstrikes and artillery fire targeting displaced families.
Khan Younis – Southern Gaza
Three Palestinians were killed and others injured north of Khan Younis when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a motorcycle. A third young man, identified as Omar Hamdi Sabah, later succumbed to the serious wounds he sustained in the same strike.
In a separate attack, Diana Mohammad Salem Abu Darraz, 23, and her one‑year‑old daughter Sewar were killed when Israeli forces shelled tents sheltering displaced families in the Al‑Mawasi area west of the city.
Khan Younis witnessed intense military operations throughout the day. Israeli forces carried out four large‑scale demolitions at dawn in the eastern and northeastern parts of the city, destroying homes and civilian facilities.
Also, an Israeli airstrike destroyed a cluster of tents sheltering nearly 200 displaced Palestinian families in the Al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.
The strike leveled the makeshift encampment and ignited fires that consumed the families’ remaining belongings, leaving them without shelter or possessions.
Armored vehicles also opened fire toward eastern Khan Younis, causing additional casualties and displacing families.
Rafah – Southernmost Gaza
Northwestern Rafah was subjected to heavy artillery fire, with Israeli armored vehicles firing toward residential areas. Local sources reported injuries and renewed displacement as families fled repeated bombardment.
Gaza City – Central Gaza
Civil Defense crews recovered the remains of two women from the Al‑Rayyes family from beneath the rubble of the Al‑Massa building in the Al‑Sabra neighborhood. Crews have been working for four consecutive days to retrieve bodies from the destroyed structure.
A critically wounded Palestinian arrived at the Shifa Hospital after an Israeli strike targeted the roof of a home belonging to the Lubbad family near Abu Shreikh roundabout west of Jabalia refugee camp.
Several Palestinians were also injured when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near Sheikh Radwan junction north of Gaza City.
Earlier in the morning, a Palestinian was injured when an Israeli drone struck the roof of a home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Medical sources reported the arrival of a slain Palestinian at Al‑Ahli Hospital following an Israeli strike near Kuwait roundabout on Salah al‑Din Street east of Gaza City.
Israeli forces detonated an explosive‑laden robot carrying large quantities of explosives to destroy homes in the Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City. The attack coincided with heavy gunfire from armored vehicles and repeated explosions in the Shuja’iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods.
Israeli aircraft also bombed the Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza City and struck a home near the Khazindar station in the Al‑Karama neighborhood.
Northern Gaza
Gunfire extended to eastern Beit Lahia, while Israeli forces targeted the Al‑Atatra area northwest of the city.
Additional injuries were reported after Israeli forces shelled the roof of a home near Abu Shreikh roundabout in western Jabalia.
Israeli Military Statements
The Israeli military announced the killing of what it described as a “battalion commander in the Rafah Brigade” of the Al‑Qassam Brigades.
In a separate statement, the army said it carried out an attack in central Gaza that killed Kayed Mohammad Satitan, whom it identified as a commander in the elite unit of Islamic Jihad.
Humanitarian Evacuations
Despite the ongoing bombardment, humanitarian operations continued. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams participated in a medical evacuation toward the Rafah crossing, assisting 85 people, including 30 patients and 55 companions, in coordination with the World Health Organization.
The evacuation aimed to transfer patients requiring specialized treatment unavailable in Gaza due to the collapse of the health system and severe pressure on medical facilities.
Confirmed Casualties
Medical sources confirmed that eight Palestinians, including two children, were killed on Monday, with additional injuries reported across the Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the number of Palestinians killed since the “ceasefire” began on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,053, with 3,406 injured and 786 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll has reached 73,066 killed and more than 173,514 injured, underscoring the heavy human cost of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Emergency crews warn that many victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings and in streets that remain inaccessible due to continued Israeli fire.
