Israeli forces carried out several invasions, abductions, and military violations across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, in a continuation of near‑daily operations targeting Palestinian towns, villages, and refugee camps.
In the central West Bank, Israeli soldiers abducted a young man on the road between Beitunia and Beit ‘Ur, west of Ramallah.
Local sources said an Israeli unit installed a military roadblock on the route, searched Palestinian vehicles, and obstructed movement before forcing the young man out of his car, assaulting him, and abducting him.
At dawn, Israeli forces invaded Beitunia and broke into the home of Anas Awadallah, 24, before abducting him. Media sources said the invasion coincided with additional military operations across the Ramallah and al‑Bireh governorate.
A large Israeli force also invaded Abwein, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, breaking into several homes and searching them.
Israeli soldiers invaded Kharbatha al‑Misbah and Kharbatha Bani Harith, west of Ramallah, though no abductions were reported.
In the same area, Israeli forces placed new concrete blocks on the road linking Beitunia with the western villages of Ramallah, adding another barrier to an already existing military roadblock.
In addition, Israeli forces placed concrete blocks in the middle of the ‘Ein Jariyut road, which connects Beitunia with the western villages of Ramallah, adding a new barrier to the already existing military roadblock.
Soldiers also invaded Deir Abu Mash‘al, northwest of Ramallah, and fired large quantities of tear gas during an invasion of al‑Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded Qalandia refugee camp, north of the city, closed its main street in both directions, and then stormed the Qalandia Institute, which belongs to UNRWA.
Since the afternoon hours, severe traffic congestion continued at the military roadblocks of Qalandia, Jaba‘, and al‑Jib due to intensified Israeli restrictions and closures.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded al‑‘Arouj, east of Bethlehem, and broke into the home of former prisoner Ali Ahmad ‘Arouj, 40, before abducting him. Soldiers searched the house, damaged its contents, and destroyed several belongings. Additional invasions were reported in the villages of Rafida, Beit Falah, and al‑‘Asakra, east of Bethlehem, without reported abductions.
In Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town, broke into several homes, and closed multiple side roads with earth mounds. Soldiers also blocked the main road linking Yatta with as‑Samu‘, south of Hebron, using concrete blocks, severely restricting movement.
In the northern West Bank, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked the village council crew in ‘Asira al‑Qibliya, south of Nablus.
Council head Abdul Qader Makhlouf said he and the team had just extinguished a fire set by Israeli colonizers between ‘Asira al‑Qibliya and ‘Urif when colonizers from the “Yitzhar” colony assaulted them with stones and pepper spray, damaging two vehicles and causing suffocation injuries to Makhlouf and council member Ibrahim Ahmad, who were transferred to a health center for treatment.
Israeli forces also invaded Beit Dajan and Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and installed a military roadblock on the road connecting the two towns.
Another military invasion was reported in the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, where the soldiers conducted searches and closed streets.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city from its eastern entrance with several armored vehicles, spread through the Naqqar neighborhood, and fired stun grenades. No abductions were reported. Soldiers also installed a military roadblock and obstructed vehicles in the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilia.
Armored Israeli vehicles further invaded the lands of ‘Arbouna, northeast of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted former prisoner Alaa Hamdan from the town of Saida, north of Tulkarem, after stopping him at the al‑Tayba military roadblock, south of the city.
Israeli forces continue to carry out daily invasions, abductions, and home break‑ins across towns, villages, and refugee camps throughout the occupied West Bank, accompanied by extensive searches, property destruction, and tightened military restrictions on Palestinian movement.
