Israeli soldiers abducted at least seventeen Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank overnight.

In Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted three former political prisoners, Walid Shehada Ja’fari, 27, from Deheishe refugee camp, south of the city, Wisam Abu Aker, in his fifties, and Mustafa Qneis, 30, from Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Omar Abu Khdeir, from Shu’fat town, after storming and ransacking his home.

The Palestinian was one of many attacked and beaten by Israeli soldiers while carrying the coffin of slain journalist Shirin Abu Aqla, who was killed by the army in Jenin.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Thaer Ezzat Abu ar-Rob, from his home in Mislaya village, Hasan Tareq, Wisam Ibrahim, and Sobeib Ayad Qabaha from their homes in Barta’a, and Fuad Eyad al-Ashqar from Silat al-Harithiya while crossing the al-Karama border terminal on his way back from Jordan.

In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohsin Hardan, Luay Sobhi Freij, and Jamal Othman Daoud, all in their forties, after invading their homes and ransacking them.

In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers invaded several homes in the al-Far’a refugee camp and abducted Mohammad Wasfi Tayeh and Osama Maher al-Bariyya.

In Salfit, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Ibrahim Rayyan, 20, from his home in Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of the city.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Halhoul town, north of the city, and abducted Ahmad Khaled Shihda ad-Douda, 28.
