On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, and Ramin, east of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northern and northwestern parts.

Media sources in Jenin said numerous military vehicles entered Ya’bad from multiple directions, storming the Schools’ neighborhood and the western part of the town, while military drones hovered overhead.

Soldiers blocked roads, disrupting Palestinian movement, and forced residents to evacuate the streets.

Notably, on Monday, Israeli troops assaulted and injured a young man near the schools’ roundabout. The town faces near-daily invasions, including abductions, violent home raids, and searches of shops and vehicles.

In Ramin, east of Tulkarem, Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods, particularly Al-Karaj, the area near the local cemetery, and Al-Wad Street.

During the incursion, soldiers stormed and ransacked shops, forcing them to shut down, while detaining and interrogating Palestinians, inspecting their ID cards.

On Tuesday evening, two Palestinians were injured, one of whom was later abducted by Israeli soldiers, after illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, backed by occupation troops, invaded Khallet ad-Dabe’ village in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank. The soldiers also abducted a university professor from her home in Doura town, southwest of Hebron, and a young man from Nablus.

Furthermore, Israeli forces shot and assaulted a Palestinian young man after invading the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
