On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man before abducting him near the Al-Jalama military roadblock, north of Jenin in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the soldiers shot Abdul-Rahman Eyad Abu A-Rob, a resident of Qabatia town, south of Jenin. They added that the soldiers targeted the young man’s legs before abducting him and taking him to an undisclosed location.
In related news, the soldiers abducted another Palestinian after stopping him on Nazareth Street in Jenin city.
It is worth noting that the Israeli army has continued its offensive on Jenin, the Jenin refugee camp, and surrounding areas for the 73rd consecutive day. This has resulted in the destruction of dozens of homes, buildings, and infrastructure, as well as the killing of 73 Palestinians, and the wounding and abduction of many others.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded Qaryout town, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and closed several streets, leading to protests.
The soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians, including those inside their homes, to suffer from tear gas inhalation.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child and wounded others during a military incursion into the town of Silat al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Shireen Observatory confirmed that Israeli soldiers shot and killed the child, Omar Amer Zyoud, 15, after storming the town of Silat al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin, on Wednesday afternoon.
In related news, Israeli forces killed the Palestinian young man, Hamza Muhammad Saeed Khammash, 33, after shooting him at close range during a military invasion into the Old City of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The soldiers also invaded and ransacked a residential building in Nablus city, while more troops were deployed across the city and the surrounding areas.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 115 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 19 children and 4 women.
Occupation forces have killed 50 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 15 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 5 in Hebron, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Bethlehem, 3 in Jerusalem, 1 in Ramallah, and 1 in Salfit.
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued bombing and shelling various parts of the destroyed, besieged, and starved coastal enclave, including the bombing of schools sheltering displaced families, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women.
They added that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to at least 50,523, including at least 15,617 children and 9,802 women, with 114,776 injuries, largely children and women, recorded since October 7, 2023.
