The relentless assault on Gaza continued Sunday morning, as Israeli warplanes continued their violent bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinian civilians, mostly children and women.

Wafa news correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that more than 20 civilians were killed and 100 others injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. This is the second time since yesterday that the Israeli forces have bombarded this supposed ‘safe zone’ filled with tents of displaced people.

Nour Al-Madhoun, her husband Ahmed Al-Zainati, and their children Mohammed and Khaled (featured in the image above), were killed after an airstrike targeted their tent in Sanabel camp, next to the Kuwaiti field hospital west of Khan Yunis.

The same sources added that nine Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed the Ayyash family home near Abu Anwar roundabout, north of the town of Az-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.

Two citizens were killed when the occupation forces bombed the Al-Farra family’s home in the Al-Fakhari area, east of Khan Yunis.

Ten citizens were killed and others injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed the home of the Maqat family on Al-Zarqa Street in Jabalia Al-Balad, north of Gaza City.

Saturday night through Sunday morning was an incredibly bloody night for the people of the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli occupation firebombed Palestinian civilians in their tents from the north to the south of Gaza.

Rescue crews in the northern Gaza Strip continue to retrieve victims from under the rubble, working with their bare hands without equipment, vehicles, or personal protective equipment.

Extensive damage was inflicted on the facilities of Al-Awda Hospital in the Tal al-Zaatar area of ​​Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, after Israeli aircraft launched a series of violent raids in the vicinity.

Areas east and north of Khan Yunis have been witnessing heavy artillery shelling, and the sounds of explosions have been shaking Gaza City since before dawn Sunday.

Journalists Aziz al-Hajjar, Nour Qandeel, and Abdul Rahman al-Abadlah were killed by Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.


It is worth mentioning that journalist Nour Qandeel was killed along with her husband and their baby girl when the army bombarded their home in Deir Al-Balah.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, leaving approximately 174,000 civilians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
