Media sources reported the death of two Palestinian men after an Israeli drone strike near the Al-Nouri Tower, in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

ARAB 48 News website reported that Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child near the “Bir Ayad” area of ​​Khan Younis, while two others sustained live gunshot injuries near the Beit Lahia roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry daily statistical report, the Israeli military has killed 73,008 Palestinians and wounded 173,260 others in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the ongoing genocide on October 7, 2023.

Despite the so-called ceasefire between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas, signed on October 10, 2025, Israeli has killed 997 citizens and injured 3,152 others, while thousands of bodies remain buried beneath the rubble.

As part of the ongoing efforts to facilitate medical treatment for patients outside the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) teams participated in the evacuation of 35 patients and their companions to the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip.

In related news, the Israeli Supreme Court rejected the appeal to release Dr. Hussam Abu-Safiya, the director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The court’s rejection of the appeal maintain the detention of Dr. Safiya without charges, under the “unlawful combatant” law.

Dr. Abu-Safiya’s lawyer, Nasser Odeh stated that the court’s decision is in violation of International Law and the Geneva Conventions, which ensures the protection of medical personnel during armed conflicts.

Odeh added that the Israeli Prison Service continues to detain Dr. Abu Sufiya in solitary confinement in harsh conditions, at Nafha prison.

Al-Jazeera quoted Naji Abbas, at Physicians for Human Rights stated that the court based its ruling on “secret materials” that the defense team were not permitted to view or defend.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appeared in occupation court on Wednesday, showing signs of torture; he has been detained in Israeli prison without charges since December 27, 2024.
