Israel carried out a new round of attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement that has been in place since October. The assaults, which struck the northern, central, and southern regions of the enclave, left two Palestinians dead and several others wounded, while also causing extensive damage to homes and civilian property.

In the northern part of the Strip, Israeli forces set fire to dozens of homes and structures on the eastern edge of Jabalia refugee camp.

Residents described large plumes of smoke rising over the area as flames spread through tightly packed residential blocks.

The fires were accompanied by low‑flying Apache helicopters circling above western Gaza City, adding to the sense of fear among families who have already been displaced multiple times.

A small quad‑copter drone also dropped an explosive device on a tent sheltering displaced families inside the camp. The blast did not result in injuries, but it deepened the anxiety of people who have been living under constant threat despite the ceasefire.

The deadliest incidents took place in central Gaza. Medical teams confirmed the killing of Khamis Joweifil after an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of civilians in the town of al‑Zawayda. Two others were wounded and taken to al‑Aqsa Hospital.

A second man was killed when another drone targeted a bicycle in Block 9 of the al‑Bureij refugee camp. His identity had not been confirmed at the time of reporting.

A separate shelling attack in al‑Bureij left four people injured, including a woman and a child who were reported to be in critical condition.

Artillery fire also struck the eastern neighborhoods of the refugee camp, damaging homes and adding to the destruction that has accumulated over months of repeated attacks.

In the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, two Palestinians were injured when Israeli artillery hit the home of the al‑Gharabli family near the Shawa fuel station.

Further south, Israeli forces carried out another demolition operation northeast of Khan Younis — the eighth such operation in the area — continuing a pattern of systematic destruction that has persisted despite the ceasefire.

Armored vehicles positioned east of the city opened fire toward central Khan Younis, while naval vessels shelled the coastline, adding to the damage inflicted on residential areas and agricultural land.

These attacks come as Gaza continues to face widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and farmland, particularly in the northern and eastern regions.

According to figures released by the Government Media Office in Gaza, Israel has committed more than three thousand violations of the ceasefire over the past 232 days.

The Ministry of Health said that two Palestinians were killed and forty injured in the past 24 hours alone. Many victims remain under the rubble or in areas that emergency crews cannot reach due to ongoing Israeli fire.

Since the “ceasefire” took effect in October 2025, the ministry has documented 932 Palestinians killed and more than 2,900 injured, in addition to hundreds of bodies recovered from destroyed neighborhoods, in addition to dozens abducted since then.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has now risen to 72,941 killed and 172,967 injured, though officials warn the real numbers are likely higher.

The Health Ministry It also noted that Israel has failed to meet the humanitarian obligations outlined in the agreement, allowing only a fraction of the required aid trucks to enter the Strip and severely restricting the movement of travelers.
