On Thursday, Israeli forces shot a 17-year old child near Nablus in the northern West Bank, and a young man in Ar-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem. An infant was injured during a colonizer attack near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and a young man suffered minor injuries during an attack near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child and injured dozens of others, in the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded Beit Furik town on Thursday afternoon and deployed infantry units in several neighborhoods, while firing live rounds and tear gas canisters.
The sources added that the soldiers shot a 17-year-old child in the thigh with live ammunition and caused dozens of citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
Meanwhile, occupation forces shot a young man when he attempted to cross the Apartheid wall in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a young man to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the leg in Ar-Ram town.
In related news, illegal colonizers, injured a Palestinian infant on Thursday morning after infiltrating the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that a group of armed paramilitary settlers hurled rocks at citizens’ homes in the the al-Rabia area of Sa’ir town, resulting in an eight-month-old infant sustaining moderate injuries to her face and head; she was transported to the hospital.
He added that the settlers who injured the infant and damaged citizens’ homes came from the newly established “Asfar” settlement outpost, east of the town.
Meanwhile, a group of armed colonizers attacked Palestinian homes and injured a young man, after invading the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Media sources reported that armed colonizers stormed homes at the entrance of Deir Jarir and opened fire with live rounds at Palestinian young men, before occupation forces arrived to protect the settlers.
During the same attack, an Israeli colonizer driving an all-terrain vehicle, deliberately rammed a Palestinian man while he was performing prayer in the street.
In a statement, the Israeli army claimed that it opened an investigation into the attack carried out by a reserve soldier who “opened fire in the village of Deir Jarir while wearing civilian clothes, in a serious violation of his authority, and an investigation is underway to determine if there were any injuries.”
The army allegedly seized the settler’s weapon and “terminated his service due to the seriousness of the events.”
