Palestinians medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that one Palestinian was killed and three others were injured when the army shelled Izbit Abed Rabbo, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Eight residents were killed on Monday.The sources identified the residents as Mohammad Abu Hajar, member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement. The injured residents suffered severe wounds, the sources added.

Palestinians medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday morning that seven Palestinians were killed by Israeli shells in The Gaza Strip on Monday at dawn, including three who were killed in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that medics located three bodies in Jabalia and evacuated several other injured residents; some of the injuries were described as serious.
A total of seven residents were killed by the army on Monday after the Israeli army announced ending its offensive in the Gaza Strip.
The latest Israeli strike targeted a location east of Al Nusseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, where one Hamas member identified as Darweesh Miqdad was killed, and three others were injured; one seriously.
A previous air strike targeted a group of fighters at the Gaza Seas Coast; one Hamas fighter identified as Ibrahim Al Masry, 20, was killed.
Three other fighters were killed in air strikes that targeted foal Shujaeyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Three Palestinian children were injured when the army shelled an area east of Jabalia on Monday at dawn.
Over the past night, the Israeli air force shelled several blacksmith workshops in different parts of the Gaza Strip and shelled an office which belongs to the office of the Change and Reform parliamentarian Bloc, which belongs to Hamas, in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Eighty residents were killed in the Gaza Strip since Saturday, and at least 300 were injured. At least 117 Palestinians were killed since Wednesday at dawn.
Meanwhile, the Al Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad stated that its fighters killed one Israeli soldier after targeting a military vehicle with a shell near the Gaza International Airport in Rafah.
Israeli newspaper Maariv stated on Monday that Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, and his Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, gave the army a green light to target Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip, including Ismail Haniyya.
Meanwhile, Barak stated that this offensive aims at removing Hamas’ rule in the Gaza Strip and did not void the possibility of a wider ground offensive.
Also, Israeli military sources reported that the army pulled out of the Gaza Strip on Monday at dawn.
The military offensive which started on Wednesday left at least 116 Palestinians dead and more than 250 injured; most of the casualties were civilians and 25% of them are children.
Several resistance groups stated that they fired homemade shells at Kissufim Israeli crossing and several Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip, in retaliation to the Israeli attacks and killings carried against the residents, the groups stated.
