The official statement of the movement came in a press release issued by its Media Office.

Hamas said that what is needed is a full Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territories without any preconditions.

The movement added that “what is needed now, is direct talks with Hamas, and not calling for the deployment of Arab or international forces”.
