The Israeli forces abducted , on Monday evening, a Palestinian passenger at the Beit Hanoun (Erez) border crossing, in northern besieged Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

The young man, Abdullah Shaker, was on his way to request permission to travel to Israel, in order to donate bone marrow to his sick brother, at the Tel Hashomer Hospital.

The location of the young man was not available at the time of this report.

The Gaza Strip, with a population of 2,000,000 people, has been under an Israeli imposed land, air, and sea blockade for thirteen years, devastating the economy of the tiny coastal enclave.

Nineteen Palestinians were abducted from the occupied West Bank, Monday, by Israeli forces, including former prisoners.

Israel holds more than 5,000 Palestinians in its prisons and detention centers in Israel and the Palestinian West Bank.

Among those detained by the occupation state, are the elderly, the sick, in addition to women and children.
