The Israeli police arrested, on Saturday afternoon, twenty Palestinian workers after stopping a GNC van close to Eyal junction, near Al Teera in Al Muthalath area in Israel.
Soldiers arrested all of the workers who were in the van in addition to their driver, who is a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem, and transferred them for interrogation.
As a result of the closure, siege and bad economic conditions in the Palestinian territories, Palestinian workers head to Israel searching for work to support them and their families even if they were not granted entry permits to Israel.
