Israeli soldiers attacked, Thursday, many Palestinians after several illegal Israeli colonists invaded their lands and installed a mobile home to establish a new outpost, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Mohammad Azem, the head of Sebastia Town Council, has reported that the Palestinians were on their lands near a local water well belonging to Deir Sharaf village when the colonists invaded the area and installed the mobile home.
He added that the colonists attacked many Palestinians to force them away before the soldiers arrived at the scene and also assaulted the residents.
The water well the illegal colonists are trying to occupy and install their new illegal outpost, is an essential water supply to many Palestinian villages and towns in the area.
“The Israeli army, and the colonists, frequently try to force us out of the area,” Azem added, “But we will continue to protest, and we intend to hold Friday prayers this week on our lands, again, and will never abandon our lands, our livelihoods.”
