On Friday afternoon, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian-owned vehicles travelling along the Nablus-Jenin Road, in the northern occupied West Bank, local sources have reported.
According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, four cars sustained damage when illegal colonists hurled stones and empty bottles at Palestinian-owned vehicles, travelling along the Nablus-Jenin Road, smashing the windshields of four vehicles.
More than 700,000 Israeli settlers live in 515 Israeli colonial settlements across the occupied West Bank.
According to international law, all Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal and violate past signed agreements.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states;
“The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.”
