Israeli soldiers abducted, Sunday, twelve Palestinians, and assaulted five of them, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem.
The soldiers invaded Wadi ar-Rababa neighborhood, in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, before assaulting and abducting five Palestinians who tried to prevent the army from bulldozing their lands.
The five Palestinians have been identified as Ahmad Semren, Fares Awad, Yousef Awad, Mohammad Awad and Ammar Awad.
The soldiers also abducted Amjad Mahmoud, 28, from his home in the al-‘Isawiya town in Jerusalem.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes, before abducting a lawyer, identified as Soheil Ashour al-Husseini, along with his son Fahed, who is also a lawyer, from their homes in Jabal Johar area.
The soldiers also abducted Hussein Hafeth al-Hreini, from his home in Yatta town, south of Hebron.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers also installed roadblocks at the entrances of Beit Einoun and Bani Neim towns, northeast, and east of Hebron, and closed the iron gate at the main entrance of Beit Awwa town, west of the city.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Qussai Ibrahim Hamada, after stopping him at a military roadblock while heading to Ramallah.
In addition, the army abducted a Palestinian from ‘Atouf village, east of Tubas in northeastern West Bank, and confiscated his truck.
In related news, the soldiers abducted Rabea’ Kamil, from Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after stopping him at the Container roadblock, north of Bethlehem city.
The soldiers also invaded Deir Ghazala village, east of Jenin, before searching homes, in addition to invading and ransacking shops in Ya’bad and Kafrit towns, before interrogating the owners and confiscating surveillance equipment and recordings.
