Three Palestinians were wounded and at least 14 Palestinians were arrested and two Israeli soldiers were wounded in Israeli army invasions in different parts of the West Bank, Palestinian media sources reported.
In the northern West Bank city of Jenin, two Palestinian resistance men and two Israeli army troops were wounded in clashes that erupted when Israeli soldiers invaded city on Wednesday morning.
Troops entered the city with at least 40 military vehicles, and arrested several Palestinians including the two wounded men. Israeli army source described the wounds of the soldiers as medium and light, but provided no information about the Palestinian wounded.
In another incident, Israeli soldiers invaded the southern West Bank town of Sourif near Hebron in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Troops opened fire at one resident who was trying to escape an arrest attempt. The man, whose identity is not known yet, was lightly wounded in the foot, and was taken to hospital before troops manage to arrest him.
Troops arrested 12 Palestinians overnight in different West Bank towns and villages, according to the sources.
