On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded many communities across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, searched and ransacked dozens of homes, and abducted at least twenty Palestinians.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded the al-Jalazonerefugee camp, north of the city, searched many homes before abducting Tawfiq Issa Rantis, 60, and his son, Mohammad, 20, in addition to Ata Sharaka and Mahmoud al-Ghazzawi.
The soldiers also invaded several neighborhoods in Deir Abu Mashal village, west of Ramallah, before abducting a former political prisoner, Mahdi Barghouthi, in addition to Mo’men Sa’id Dahshan, Hani Mamdouh Dahshan, and Hussein Shaher Eid.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, Qassem Abu Hussein, Fadi Abu Daoud, in addition to Ashraf al-Mohtaseb, Nabil Abdin, and Shaher Abu Aisha, after storming their homes and ransacking them.
In Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched homes and abducted a former political prisoner, Mahmoud Kamel al-’Ayya, in addition to Mohammad Ahmad Souqiyya and Khaled al-Haj.
In Fahma village, southwest of Jenin, the soldiers searched many homes before abducting Labib Nawasra and former political prisoner Yousef Nawasra.
During the invasion, the soldiers detained Abdullah and his brother Othman Mara’ba from their homes and interrogated them for several hours before releasing them.
The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets.
The soldiers also invaded the Housing neighborhood and Askar al-Jadid refugee camp, east of Nablus in northern West Bank, searched homes, and exchanged fire with resistance fighters in the refugee camp.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded the az-Zawiya town, west of the city, searched homes, and abducted Yousef Abdul-Qarim Shqeir, 20.
In the ar-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Mershed ash-Shawamra, from his home.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Tuqu’ town, east of the city, searched homes, and abducted a child, Hamada Tareq Sabah, 16.
On Wednesday at dawn, Palestinian medical sources confirmed that Ahmad Hikmat Saif, 23, from Burqa village, north of Nablus, died from severe wounds he suffered a week earlier, after Israeli soldiers shot him near Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
On Tuesday evening, undercover Israeli soldiers kidnapped a young man, Taha Na’na’, near Tal village, southwest of Nablus.
The soldiers also abducted three Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
