Wednesday, October 12, 2022 (WAFA) – A Palestinian doctor today sustained injuries and bruises after he was beaten by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the village of Bayt Lid, east of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem, WAFA correspondent confirmed.
She said that Atef Jom’a, 28, sustained injuries in most parts of his body after he was brutally assaulted by Israeli soldiers after they forced him to get out of his vehicle at a checkpoint set up at the entrance of the said village.
Jom’a, from the village of Kafr Qaddoum, in the Qalqilia governorate, was taken to the Thabet Thabe hospital, where his condition was reported to be moderate.
Earlier today, Israeli settlers attacked a vehicle carrying a number of dialysis patients, near Huwwara military checkpoint, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
