On Friday, the Israeli occupation authorities transferred the corpses of two slain Palestinians from Ramallah and Nablus, whom Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonialist settlers killed in January of 2023.
The Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs said the corpses of Tareq Yousef Ma’ali, 42, a married father of three children from Kafr Ni’ma village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and Karam Ali Salman, and Karam Ali Salman, 18, from Qusin town, west of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, were transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, ahead of transferring them to their families for proper burial ceremonies.
Despite Israeli rejections and punitive measures, the General Authority added that its efforts to ensure the transfer of the corpses of all slain Palestinians to their families are ongoing.
It is worth mentioning that Tareq, a married father of three children, Walid, 12, Laith, 8, and Ahmad, 6, was killed by an Israeli paramilitary colonizer in the Jabal Ar-Reesan area, near Kafr Ni’ma village, on January 21, 2023.
Karam Salman was killed on January 28, 2023, near the Kedumim illegal Israeli colony built on stolen Palestinian lands east of Qalqilia in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
This communing Sunday, Israel plans to transfer the corpse of Ahmad Abu Ali, 48, who died in Israeli prison, on February 10, 2023, due to medical neglect by the Israeli prison authorities.
