On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man and confiscated his car at a military roadblock northwest of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Shadi Amira from Jabal Al-Mokabber town in Jerusalem while trying to cross the roadblock and confiscated his car.
They added that Shadi, a Birzeit University student in Birzeit north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, is also a former political prisoner.
A week ago, the soldiers stormed Amira’s family home and violently searched it, causing excessive damage.
The soldiers also searched many cars and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
