Israeli army troops, vehicles, and bulldozers stormed the west side of downtown Nablus city north of the West Bank on Thursday morning. They surrounded a bulding and abducted one Palestinian man.

Eyewitnesses stated that at least 13 Israeli military vehicles stormed the city and surrounded a building in Al-Ta'awun Street, after an advance under cover Israeli force had surrounded the building. Witnesses added that two army helicopters were flying over the attacked area.

 

Israeli soldiers using loudspeakers and shouted at the residents to leave their homes in the building and come out to the street. Soldiers detained six youths after forcing them to undress and searching them.Sharpshooters were also stationed on the roof of the surrounded building, Palestinian sources reported.

 

After several hours, and before the army left Nablus city, troops released the six detained youths. However, they abducted Amar Damrah 26, who is a resident of the building in question.

 

Israeli media sources reported that Damrah was planning to commit a suicide attack inside Israel, no Palestinian sources have confirmed this claim.
