Updated: Earlier Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted at least seven Palestinians from the West Bank governorates of Nablus and Hebron, after the army stormed and ransacked many homes, and shot a young man near Ramallah.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the Balata refugee camp, east of the city, broke into a home, and kidnapped Saleh Awwad.
Also, the soldiers invaded Ibin Rushd Street in Nablus, stormed and searched buildings, and abducted Abdullah Abu Odah.
The soldiers also abducted Mohammad Hani Abu Jamous, 19, from Auja town, north of Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, after stopping him at the Za’tara military roadblock, south of Nablus.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes across the governorate, causing excessive damage, interrogated Palestinians, and abducted five.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Mahmoud Awawda and Sa’ad Atef Qazzaz, from Doura town, south of Hebron, Na’im Mousa Abu Rajab, from Yatta, south of Hebron, in addition to Yousef Ayman Sabarna and Mohammad Haitham Sabarna, from Beit Ummar town, north of the city.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers shot a young man with a live round during protests that took place after the army invaded Kafr Ein village, northwest of the city.
On Friday evening, the soldiers closed all streets leading to Jericho, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
