Israeli forces abducted, on Sunday, two Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank, and one young man from the “Hamra” military roadblock, in the northern Jordan Valley.

Before dawn on Sunday, a large army force, accompanied by a military bulldozer, invaded the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, sparking protests.

Media sources said that several military vehicles stormed the city and its refugee camp, and positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of residential buildings.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, while soldiers fired live rounds and tear gas at citizens; no injuries were reported.


The military bulldozers destroyed vital infrastructure on Al-Sikka Street in the city, in addition to a bakery and many streets in the Jenin camp.


Later it was reported that the army abducted two unidentified young men from the Jenin camp, in addition to conducting a large-scale search operation in the town of Ya’bad, west of the city, the town of Silat Ad-Dhahr, and the village of Al-Fandaqumiya, to the southwest.

Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, Israeli soldiers abducted a resident of Tammun town, south of Tubas, while he was passing through the “Hamra” military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Tubas, occupation forces abducted the citizen, Yasser Arafat Bani Odeh, 19, when he tried to pass through the military roadblock.

In related news, occupation forces invaded the northern West Bank city of Nablus, before dawn on Sunday, and abducted a Palestinian young man, in addition to abducting two former prisoners in the village of Madama, and another young man in the village of Tal, in the Nablus governorate.
