On Friday, Day 273 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in several areas of the devastated, starved, and destroyed Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including women, children, and journalists.
On Friday evening, the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Sha’ar family in the Nafaq Street area, in the center of Gaza City, killing two children and wounding many Palestinians, before the medics moved them to the Baptist Hospital in the city.

The army also fired a missile at a home for the Midwekh family in the Sahaba area in the Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, killing five Palestinians and wounding many others.
Medical sources said two journalists, Sa’adi Midwekh and Ahmad Sukkar, were killed in the Midwekh family home bombing.
The assassination of the two journalists brings the number of slain reporters and media workers since October 7, 2023, to 159.
It is worth mentioning that, on Thursday, the army killed a Palestinian journalist, Mohammad Sakani, who worked for the Al-Quds Satellite TV, in his home in the Tuffah neighborhood, in Gaza City.
In addition, five Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army fired missiles at homes in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

The army also fired missiles at a home and UNRWA food storage facilities in the Nusseirat and the Maghazi refugee camps, in central Gaza, killing at least nine Palestinians, including are several UNRWA employees, and wounding dozens, including many women and children.

In northern Gaza, the army fired missiles at a UNRWA school sheltering hundreds of displaced Palestinian families, causing dozens of casualties, and displacing, yet again, the families including dozens of children and women.

Parents and children were seen amidst the chaos, looking for their loved ones, hoping to find surviving family members amidst the massive destruction and the rubble.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired a missile at a Palestinian home, killing six Palestinians, including children, from the same family, in the eastern part of the city.
Al-Jazeera Arabic has reported that the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters managed to ambush and kill ten Israeli soldiers, in two separate attacks, in Gaza City’s Sheja’eyya neighborhood.
In a report, Al-Jazeera English said, “As Palestinians in Gaza continue to face forced displacement by Israeli forces, the Associated Press news agency captured photos of streets flooded with sewage in the southern city of Khan Younis.”
It added that human Rights groups and health advocates have repeatedly warned that “unsanitary conditions due to displacement and Israeli bombardment could contribute to the spread of diseases in Gaza.”
Israel has now killed at least 38.011 Palestinians, including at least 15.919 children and 10.519 women, and injured more than 87.445, mostly children, women, and elderly, in addition to the thousands (approximately 10.000) who remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on streets and destroyed alleys, across the coastal enclave, since October 7, 2023.
