On Monday, day 353 of the Israeli military assault on the entire civilian population of 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza continued with another bombing of a school housing displaced Palestinians.

This follows six similar Israeli bombings of schools housing refugees over the past two weeks, including a bombing of Kafr Qasim school the previous day, on Sunday, that killed at least seven Palestinian civilians, mainly children.

The children in the image above are Palestinian brother & sister Majd & Mona Zaqout: After 3 days under the rubble, the bodies of these two children were pulled out this morning — and both children were found without heads.

On Monday before dawn, Israeli forces dropped a bomb on Khalid bin al-Walid School east of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Three Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the Israeli bombing that targeted a school sheltering displaced people who had fled from their homes in other parts of Gaza under Israeli orders.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation bombed a row on the upper floor of Khaled bin Al-Walid School, which houses displaced people in Al-Nuseirat camp, leading to the killing of three civilians and the injury of others.

In the northern Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house near the Nassar junction in Jabalia camp , north of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, rescue teams continue to search for missing persons under the rubble of the destroyed house.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 41,431 Palestinians and the injury of 95,818 others, most of whom are children and women, while thousands of people are still missing under the rubble.

Among the slain Palestinians are at least 16,640 children, 11,410 women, 183 journalists and 23 emergency responders, 885 medical staff, 82 Civil Defense staff, and 211 UNRWA staff.

The British Lancet Medical Journal and other experts estimate the death toll in Gaza is much higher – and could be above 200,000, when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza.

This most recent escalation of Israel’s ongoing military occupation of Palestine began October 7th 2023 when 1,143 Israelis were killed, including 767 civilians and 376 armed soldiers. Around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed between October 7th and now – both in Gaza and on the Israeli border with Lebanon.
