On Friday dawn, the Israeli army continued the bombing of various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, for the eighteenth day since the resumption of the genocide on March 18th, 2025, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children.
The army continued to expand its offensive in Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, completely isolating it from the rest of the coastal enclave and intensified the displacement and bombing of Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza city after constantly bombing it throughout the night.
Medical sources in Rafah said a Palestinian man and his wife were killed, and many injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a tent, housing a displaced family in the northeastern part of the city.
The army also bombarded Fahed Sabah nearby school, in Gaza city’s Tuffah neighborhood, killing at least four Palestinians and wounding many others.
In addition, the army bombarded a water desalination plant in the easter area of Gaza city’s Tuffah neighborhood.
Also, the army fired barrages of shells and missiles at various areas, west of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, causing many casualties.
In Khan Younis, in Gaza’s southern part, the army fired a missile at a three-story home in the Al-Manara neighborhood, in the southeastern areas of the city, killing seventeen Palestinians and wounding dozens, including many children and women.
Also in Khan Younis, a Palestinian woman was killed when the army fired a missile at a tent, housing a displaced family in the western area of Masawi Khan Younis.
On Thursday, the Israeli army killed and injured dozens of Palestinians across the coastal enclave, among them 112 slain Palestinians and 138 injured, who were transferred to medical centers.

During the Thursday bombing, the army committed a massacre in Dar Al-Arqam School in Gaza, killing at least 31, and wounding more than 100, in addition at least six Palestinians, including a woman, nine months pregnant, who remain under the rubble.
Israeli sources said the army is gradually expanding its offensive in the Gaza Strip, and added that, according to government officials, “the only way to end the war is returning all hostages and ending Hamas’ reign in the coastal enclave.”
The statement resembles another direct Israel rejection of a new ceasefire that would pave the way for indirect talks and a prisoner-swap agreement that would also include the rebuilding of Gaza, and the entry of humanitarian aid.
Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth daily quoted the father of Nimrod Cohen, a 20-year-old Israeli soldier who was captured on October 7, 2023, and remains in Gaza, stating that ensuring the return of captured Israeli is not on the Israeli government’s priority list.
The director of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza informed Al-Jazeera that the situation is dire, describing it as “catastrophic” and “out of control” amid continuous massacres. He urged relevant parties to apply pressure for the opening of crossings to ease the strain on the healthcare system.
He also highlighted the critical shortage of medical equipment in northern Gaza, noting there is only one CT scan machine, while the demand far exceeds this capacity.
