On Saturday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed the Islamic cemetery and the streets and alleys of Hebron’s Old City, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that dozens of colonizers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, invaded the Islamic cemetery and various neighborhoods in Hebron’s Old City, including Jaber, Tal Romeida, and Sahla.
They added that the colonizers organized a provocative march from the Kiryat Arba illegal colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands in the eastern part of Hebron, and from colonialist outposts in the city center.
The colonizers threw stones at Palestinian homes around the Ibrahimi Mosque and near the Osama Bin Monqith School, which the occupation forces have turned into a religious institute named “Beit Romano.”
The colonizers roamed the streets and alleys of the Old City, climbed onto the roofs of several Palestinian homes, and chanted racist slogans, including “Death to Arabs.”
Israeli soldiers obstructed the movement of Palestinians in the Old City, prevented residents from reaching their homes, and closed several roads leading to the area.
On Saturday evening, several Palestinians suffered from the effects of teargas inhalation after Israeli soldiers fired sound bombs and gas bombs at them in Hebron.
