A group of resistance fighters of the al Quds Brigade the armed wing of Islamic Jihad movement had escaped on Friday afternoon an Israeli assassination attempt by the under cover unit of the army in the town of Qabatiya south west of northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources reported that a group of an Israeli undercover unit intercepted to the down town of Qabatiya and exchanged fire with the resistance fighters who escaped the scene.
