A senior Palestinian official announced on Tuesday that a trilateral summit attended by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, US President George Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in addition to President Husni Mubarak of Egypt , will be held in Egypt
He added that the aim of this meeting that will be held at the Red Sea resort of Sharm Al Sheikh next month aims to resume the Palestinian –Israeli peace negotiations.
He affirmed that this meeting will be held in the middle of May and attended by President Bush, President Abbas and Premier Olmert During Bush’s visit to the region to follow up the peace negotiations.
Meanwhile, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister stated that they do not have any information of holding such a meeting.
The Middle East Economic Forum is to be held from the 18th to 20th of next May in Egypt’s Red Sea Resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
