Illegal Israeli colonizers injured two Palestinian farmers, on Tuesday, in the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank. Settlers opened fire towards citizens in Huwarra town, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and erected a tent on citizens’ land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Illegal Israeli colonizers injured two Palestinian farmers, on Tuesday morning, and occupation forces blocked citizens from reaching their lands to harvest their olives, in the village of Kufur Qaddoum.
WAFA correspondent reported that a group of colonizers invaded the Qatain area in Kufur Qaddoum village, and assaulted the farmers, Hekmat Mahmoud Shteiwi, 49, and Wissam Ayoub Shteiwi, 45; they were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the Qatain area, positioned troops at the entrance to the village and blocked Palestinian farmers from reaching their land to harvest their olives.
Meanwhile, illegal Israeli settlers opened fire towards Palestinians while they were picking olives on their own land in the town of Huwarra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Jihad Odeh, the head of the Huwarra Town Council, told the WAFA News Agency that colonizers from the illegal Yitzhar settlement, opened fire with live ammunition towards citizens in the al-Tira area, forcing them to flee.
He added that one citizen suffered a fractured leg as a result of a fall while he was running from the settlers’ gunfire.
Later Tuesday, Israeli settlers erected a tent and grazed their livestock on citizens’ land in Khirbet Haribat al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
Media activist, Osama Makhamreh reported that a group of Israeli settlers set up a tent and released their livestock on citizens’ land in Khirbet Haribat al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta.
Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the village of Al-Mafqara in Masafer Yatta, and demolished a solidarity tent erected by the Za’ir Al-Amour family and activists.
Moreover, Israeli colonizers began, on Tuesday morning, fencing off large areas of land in the Umm al-Jimal and al-Farisiya areas in the northern Jordan Valley, in a prelude to taking over the land.
Media sources said that colonizers fenced large areas of agricultural and pastoral land in the Umm al-Jimal and al-Farisiya areas.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that the area of land fenced off by the illegal settlers is more than 1,200 dunams, some of which is owned by local Palestinian citizens.
