A 26-year-old Palestinian laborer was shot and wounded by Israeli forces on Sunday, near a section of the illegal Annexation Wall in the town of ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PSCS) stated that its emergency crews in Ramallah treated the worker, 26 years of age, for live gunshot injuries sustained near the Annexation Wall and transferred him to hospital for further care.

The incident is part of a broader pattern of violence targeting Palestinian workers. Since the beginning of 2025, at least 15 workers have been killed by Israeli occupation forces—either shot directly, fatally pursued, or killed in falls while attempting to scale the illegal Annexation Wall.

In recent months, hundreds of workers have also been injured, subjected to abduction, beatings, and abuse by Israeli police and soldiers, under the pretext of lacking entry permits.

Since October 2023, the Federation has documented the killing of 42 workers and over 32,000 abductions and detentions among Palestinian laborers seeking livelihood under occupation and siege.

These figures were reported and confirmed by the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions, in addition to the Health Ministry.
