On Friday, Israeli forces abducted several Palestinians, including a journalist, in the governorates of Tulkarem, Jenin, Tubas, Jordan Valley, and Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that occupation forces abducted four citizens displaced from the Nur Shams refugee camp, after storming their residences in the Iktaba suburb, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
The abductees were identified as Saeed Al-Sayes, Maher Shawish, Fouad Dawas, and the former prisoner Mohammad Sulait Abu Sulait.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted a young man in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
The sources added that undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen) infiltrated Burqin town and surrounded a citizen’s home, before military reinforcements arrived and abducted the young man Amin Mohammad Sahmoud.
Occupation soldiers abducted a Palestinian young man near the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
According to Kamal Bani Odah, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, reported that soldiers abducted Mahdi Ibrahim Mutlaq Al-Aidi, 25, after invading his home near the Al-Far’a camp.
Media sources said that undercover Israeli agents infiltrated the area and besieged the young man’s home, before military reinforcements stormed the area.
The official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in the Tubas Governorate, Moataz Bisharat, reported that Israeli forces abducted Musab Abdul Ghani Abdul Karim Awawda, after invading the Hamza al-Fouqa community in the northern Jordan Valley.
Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers abducted Palestinian journalist Hisham Abu Shaqra and detained his wife, in the town of Huwarra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
In related news, Israeli troops invaded the Al-Dahia neighborhood in Nablus city, and fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades towards citizens’ homes; no injuries or arrests were reported.
In the central West Bank, occupation forces stormed and ransacked several citizens’ homes in the town of Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit.
Soldiers detained a number of citizens and subjected them to field interrogation, before withdrawing; no arrests were reported.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Za’atara and Shawawra, southeast and east of Bethlehem.
In Shawawra, Israeli forces stormed the homes of the citizens Musa Ahmad Hamdan, Majd Adnan Hamdan, and Yazan Mohammad Hamdan; no arrests were reported.
After storming the town of Za’atara, the army fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades; no injuries or arrests were reported.
WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem and took up positions the vicinity of the “Gate” and the entrance to Solomon’s Pools, in addition to closing the main Jerusalem-Hebron road; no arrests were reported.
