Israeli forces carried out multiple demolitions and land‑clearing operations on Wednesday across several areas of the occupied West Bank, targeting agricultural structures, retaining walls, and residential shelters in Jerusalem and the South Hebron Hills.

In the town of al‑Judeira, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, soldiers accompanied by heavy machinery invaded the al‑Shaqaf area and began demolishing a small agricultural room along with several surrounding walls.

Local officials said the bulldozers then moved on to level nearby farmland, uprooting cultivated plots used by families in the area.

Sadeq Jaber, head of the Rafat Municipality, told the Jerusalem Governorate that Israeli forces also delivered new demolition notices to several residents, describing the move as part of an ongoing effort to restrict Palestinian construction and presence around Jerusalem.

In occupied Jerusalem, the governorate reported that Israeli forces and military bulldozers demolished a retaining wall and cleared land adjacent to a local Mosque in the al‑Misrara neighborhood, near Damascus Gate.

The destruction was carried out without prior notice and caused visible damage to the mosque’s surroundings.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces invaded the town of Qalandia, north of Jerusalem, deploying in several streets before withdrawing.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces expanded their operations to the South Hebron Hills, where they demolished several residential shelters and agricultural structures in the al‑Qarashiya area of the Yatta wilderness.

Activist Osama Makhamra said bulldozers accompanied by soldiers tore down multiple structures used by families and herding communities.

He added that demolition was still underway as residents attempted to recover belongings from the debris.

The South Hebron Hills, home to dozens of small Palestinian communities, has faced repeated demolitions and displacement attempts as Israeli authorities and illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers push to expand control over the area and link surrounding colonies.
