Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al-Maliki asserted, this Saturday, that Israeli actions in the ongoing West Bank arrest campaign amount to war crimes.
According to the Alternative Information Center in Beit Sahour, the FM condemned the silence of the international community over the ongoing Israeli aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people.

He also called upon the international community to protect the Palestinian people, who remain, in reality, defenseless against this kind of agression, and are subjected to the worst forms of war crimes committed in modern times.

“Israel does not need a pretext to commit crimes against the Palestinians, but the severity and brutality of the current Israeli incursion call for an immediate intervention to stop such crimes as soon as possible,” he said.

A-Maliki also said that the Palestinian government will prevent a new intifada, despite Israeli pressures.
